No i put it to the top of the intake. Need to put it to put the tip on to a ground?

So I had a issue where my car wasn't revving out before ended up sorting that out and getting the car going. But on the second test run we noticed the car was boosting out to 20psi(stock actuator) as we were driving all of a sudden the car cut out and engine light came on. Pulled the coil packs out put a spark plug on the end and noticed its not getting spark. So far im thinking CAS. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

So I ended up getting it running properly(kinda). It ended up being o2 sensor or cas adjustment was too off. It ended up reving out and driving ok but hitting 20psi for some reason?(stock actuator) on the second run the car completely cut out and the check engine light came on. And now the cars not getting any spark.??

On stock ecu, Checked cooler pipes and for vac leaks. Nothing to be found. Yea always. The flutter goes and comes somethimes.

So I bought a s14 few weeks ago. Wasn't running when I bought it(no diff). So I got it started and It idles fine. I found when I drove it and went to rev past 4500-5000 it would really hesitate and bog down. Then I found I had a crack in the exhaust manifold(stainless). So I changed it with a stock manifold hoping this would have been what the issue was. Unfortunately it wasn't the issue, the car was still doing the same thing. So I pulled the spark plugs out to inspect them and found that they were white from running lean. So I changed fuel filter, Fuel pump,Afm, Injectors and fuel pressure reg(witha s14 sr20de frp which I think is the same) and the issue is still there. It also flutters through the pod filter on idle and when I inspected the plugs last time around I found that cylinder number 1's spark plug was black where as 2,3 and 4 were still white. Any Ideas on what might be causing this? With matusri 2 days away its a race against the clock. Thanks in advance

I bought a s14a about two weeks ago. I bought the car with the diff out of the car but the guy gave me a r33 4.3 abs diff separate. So I dropped my subframe and changed the diff and subframe bushes and replaced them with solids also had the diff welded(track car). After I put the subframe back and went to attach the tailshaft to the Diff I relised there was a gap of about 8.5-9mm between the tailshaft and diff. Any ideas why? I know the Abs and non abs tailshaft have a differance of about 10mm, abs being shorter. If I have the incorrect tailshaft which would be the non abs it should be too long to attach to the diff not shorter... ?? Any ideas as to what the issue might be?
